Manchester United are weighing up a package deal comprising of Wilfried Zaha and £7million for Everton left-back Leighton Baines.

David Moyes is ready to let £15m Zaha go just months after he joined from Crystal Palace.

Express Sport understands that Moyes will finally land England international Baines in the January transfer window.

And recent reports suggest that the Toffees will do business with United to the tune of £7m plus Zaha.

The 20-year-old was highly rated by former Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson, but has made just two appearances under Moyes and is yet to feature in the Premier League.

“We have to try to make sure he gets some playing time,” Moyes recently admitted, but the Scot could cut his losses with the winger in order the seal the signing of Baines.

Everton were initially interested in taking Zaha on loan but could finally allow Baines to leave if they can land the Ivory Coast-born forward as part of the transfer.

Moyes is also keen on offloading Anderson, Ashley Young and Nani as he trims the fat from his squad.
