Barclays Premier League leaders Arsenal expect Mesut Ozil to have recovered from a knee injury in time to face Norwich on Saturday.

Midfielder Santi Cazorla could also return for the first time since September following an ankle injury, while fullback Bacary Sagna (hamstring) may also be involved.

Forward Theo Walcott (abdominal), Yaya Sanogo (back), Lukas Podolski (hamstring), Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Abou Diaby (both knee) are all still recovering.

Forward Anthony Pilkington is doubtful as Norwich travel to Barclays Premier League leaders Arsenal.

Pilkington made an early return from international duty with the Republic of Ireland due to a hamstring injury, but boss Chris Hughton is optimistic he will be fit.

Hughton will assess a number of other knocks ahead of the trip to the Emirates Stadium.

This match has home win written all over it but Norwich will have taken heart from the performance if not the result in their defeat against Chelsea. They were similarly unfortunate not to get anything from the game on their previous visit to Arsenal last year. Arsène Wenger will be mindful of Tuesday’s match against Borussia Dortmund but has the option of pairing Mesut Ozil and Santi Cazorla in his midfield for the first time.
