Crystal Palace and European giants Roma were both in the running for the 24-year-old.
But Palace decided to look elsewhere and Arsenal are not on good terms with Roma. And that means Bournemouth have been left in the clear to land him for the season.
He wrote on Twitter: “Jack Wilshere set to join Bournemouth. Arsenal rejected Roma, Palace think their bid over & focusing elsewhere.”
Wilshere is heading out of Arsenal to get himself match fit.
Wilshere’s arrival is a huge boost to Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth, who are looking to kick on after surviving in their first Premier League season last term.
The Cherries are languishing in the bottom three after taking just one point from their first three games of the season.
