Manchester United have completed a deal to keep winger Nani at the club on a new contract.

That’s according to Juventus sporting director Giuseppe Marotta, who was heavily linked with a move away to the Old Lady, as well as Roma and Monaco.

The 26-year-old, who made his first appearance for the first team against Liverpool on Sinday, existing contract had recently entered its final year.

But Marotta has revealed Nani has decided to stay at Old Trafford past the current season.

“He has renewed his contract with Manchester United and we never negotiated for him,” he claimed.

Nani has struggled for consistency at Old Trafford since joining from Sporting Lisbon in 2007, having made only 10 Premier League appearances last season.
