kayne-diedrick-robertsManchester United have struck an agreement to sign teenage striker Kayne Diedrick-Roberts.

According to the Daily Mail Old Trafford scouts have been impressed with the 15-year-old, who will sign a contract to officially join United as a first-year scholar in July after reportedly being released by Fulham.

Versatile forward Diedrick-Roberts was part of the Cottagers’ youth team that won the Under-16 Premier League International Cup in November.

United have strengthened their youth ranks following the arrival of Louis van Gaal as manager last summer with the Dutch boss handing first team opportunities to a host of young players including Paddy McNair and James Wilson.

They signed teenage Dutch defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah from Ajax in the previous transfer window.
