Sir Alex Ferguson has promised to make changes for the first of three games in a week for United.

Nani has recovered from his ankle injury and will return after a five-match absence.

Anderson (hamstring) and Michael Owen (thigh) are both sidelined as United look to take advantage of an earlier kick-off time to open up an eight-point lead on Manchester City in the Barclays Premier League title race.

Long-term absentees DJ Campbell and Heidar Helguson will be included in QPR’s squad.

Both strikers have been sidelined for more than two months, but top scorer Helguson returns from a groin injury and summer signing Campbell is back after a hamstring problem.

Fellow front man Djibril Cisse continues to miss out through suspension, while Armand Traore and Fitz Hall are still out.
