Tottenham have no new injury concerns ahead of the Premier League game at Sunderland.

Ledley King (knee) will have a test on Friday to see if he is fit enough to play while Aaron Lennon (hamstring) may make his first start in a month after coming off the bench against Swansea last week.

Long-term absentees Michael Dawson (ankle), Heurelho Gomes (knee), David Bentley (knee) and Tom Huddlestone (ankle) are out.

Sunderland manager Martin O’Neill is unlikely to make many changes.

Defender Wayne Bridge is expected to return after being ineligible for last weekend’s game against Manchester City under the terms of his loan agreement.

The fixture is likely to be a game too soon for defender John O’Shea (calf), while Lee Cattermole faces a late fitness test on an ongoing knee problem.
