Wigan manager Roberto Martinez is waiting on the fitness of striker Hugo Rodallega and midfielder Albert Crusat.

Rodallega picked up a knock to his knee during last weekend’s 1-1 draw against Norwich while Crusat injured a toe in training.

Goalkeeper Michael Pollitt is estimated to be 10 days away from a return after suffering a shoulder injury and midfielder David Jones is still sidelined with a knee problem.

West Brom centre-back Jonas Olsson is suspended for the away trip after his sending off against Manchester United at Old Trafford last weekend.

Craig Dawson and Gabriel Tamas will be vying to partner Gareth McAuley at the heart of the Albion defence. Right-back Billy Jones is also available again after recovering from a hamstring injury.

Striker Peter Odemwingie has only an outside chance of being fit because of a calf problem. Shane Long, Somen Tchoyi and Simon Cox are in contention to replace the Nigerian international.

Winger Jerome Thomas has shaken off his recent hamstring injury while midfielder Keith Andrews (knee) should be fit despite missing training during the early part of the week.
