England star Kyle Walker has signed a contract extension with Tottenham that will keep him at the club until 2019.
Walker was voted young Player of the Year by the Professional Football Association in 2012.
“It’s fantastic. When I first signed when I was 18, I always wanted to make it a long stay,” Walker told Spurs TV
“Hopefully there will be medals with that.
“The lads are fantastic and the manager makes it easier for you to sign a new contract.
“I’m very thankful to the chairman for giving me an extension and hopefully I can repay him with my performances on the pitch and help us get a top four spot.”
He has made 112 appearances for Spurs, scoring just twice.
Spurs are currently fourth in the table, three points behind pace-setters Arsenal.
