Manchester United supporters are bombarding the FA with demands that Kenny Dalglish is charged over his sweary outburst at Arsene Wenger.

The Liverpool manager was caught on camera telling his Arsenal counterpart to “piss off” when Wenger complained about Liverpool’s late penalty at the Emirates yesterday.

United fans smarting from their Wembley defeat to Manchester City believe it will be double standards if Dalglish does not face an FA charge like Wayne Rooney, banned from the FA Cup semi-final after swearing directly into a Sky camera after completing his hat-trick against West Ham two weeks ago.

They say that although Dalglish did not swear straight into the camera lens, the fact that he left his technical area to curse at Wenger contradicts the FA’s Respect agenda.

United supporters are also complaining to Sky Sports after replays of the incident were edited to remove Dalglish’s bad language. They say the Rooney incident was replayed endlessly, with the player’s mouth blurred.
