Manchester United will hold contract talks with Javier Hernandez to keep him away from Arsenal and Tottenham.
He has been linked with a move away to get regular football with Arsenal and Tottenham both keen.
The United ace would get plenty more game-time there, where competition for a striking berth is not so intense.
Bar Nicklas Bendtner, Olivier Giroud is Arsenal’s only fit forward. Tottenham, meanwhile, have been struggling to find the net this season and Jermain Defoe could be on his way out.
Hernandez, who has a fine scoring record for club and country, this week said: “It’s the best feeling for a striker to score.”
But in the Premier League, he isn’t getting the chance.
He has started just ONE game all season and has been restricted to mainly cup appearances.
