Chelsea are eyeing a swap deal with Bayern Munich involving David Luiz and Mario Mandzukic.

Jose Mourinho is prepared to offload Luiz this summer in order to raise funds for new signings.

And with a £32million deal for Atletico Madrid hitman Diego Costa set to go through after the Champions League final on May 24, the Blues boss must bring in money to strengthen elsewhere.

According to reports, Chelsea are set to offer the £30m-rated Brazilian in exchange for Bayern striker Mandzukic and £15m cash.

Arsenal are also interested in the Croatian international, but Mourinho wants to move quick to bring him to Stamford Bridge alongside Costa.

Luiz is a target for Barcelona, but with uncertainties over their next manager Bayern could capitalise on that hesitancy to secure the 27-year-old.

Pep Guardiola is a big fan of Luiz and Munich could be willing to allow Mandzukic go as he is surplus to requirements at the Allianz Arena.
