Liverpool are poised to swoop for Toulouse right-back Serge Aurier.

Arsenal have been heavily linked with the Ivory Coast international, who will feature at the World Cup in Brazil this summer.

But while it has been suggested Aurier would be signed as a long-term replacement for Manchester City-bound Bacary Sagna, Arsene Wenger has yet to make his move.

And according to reports, Liverpool could be ready to capitalise on Arsenal’s lack of action with a bid for the £7million-rated full-back.

Aurier’s agent Stephane Courbis claims another Premier League club are in for the 21-year-old.

“There is no agreement with Arsenal,” Courbis said.

“We’ve talked in past but there has been nothing recently. We’re in talks with another English side.”
