Manchester United boss David Moyes is planning a fresh scouting mission to Germany in a bid to bring in new reinforcements before the close of the January transfer window.

Moyes was recently confirmed to have been handed a sensational £150m transfer budget, and is looking to spend to help save his disastrous first season at United.The Man United boss was informed of his spending power at a top-level transfer summit with chief executive Ed Woodward and other directors.

The former Everton boss is eyeing a host of midfield players, including Borussia Dortmund’s Ilkay Gundogan, 23, and Marco Reus, 24, plus Atletico Madrid’s Koke, 22.

And Moyes is now looking to travel to Germany so he can have a closer look at two more transfer targets.

Starsport has learned he will watch Bayern Munich’s clash with Borussia Monchengladbach on Friday night.

The United boss wants to watch Max Kruse and Patrick Herrmann in action.

Striker Kruse is emerging as one of the brightest talents in Europe while attacking midfielder Herrmann has been dubbed the ‘new Marco Reus’.

Moyes has an unlimited budget and has spent the last two weeks jetting around Europe watching games in Spain, Italy and France as the pressure mounts on him to strengthen his flagging squad.
