Yaya Toure has thrown further doubt on his Manchester City future by declaring it would be “an honour” to play for Paris Saint-Germain.

Toure’s agent, Dimitri Seluk, claimed last week that his client felt “unappreciated” at City after the club’s Abu Dhabi hierarchy failed to acknowledge his 31st birthday during an end-of-season reception to celebrate winning the Premier League title.Ivory Coast midfielder Toure backed up Seluk’s words and has now added: “When I think about the objectives of PSG, how can you not be interested in a club like that? PSG have become a European power. It would be an honour to be part of such a club one day… if I can be of use.”
