Iker-Casillas-David-de-GeaManchester United have been dealt a huge blow in their attempts to keep hold of David De Gea this summer.

Spanish TV station RTVE claim the United goalkeeper is on the verge of a switch as Iker Casillas agrees a move to Porto.

The report suggested Casillas ‘will play’ for the Portuguese side next season, leaving Real Madrid with only Keylor Navas on their books.

And they say this all points to the imminent arrival of Manchester United’s No1 De Gea.

Casillas is believed to have reached an agreement to leave the Bernabeau, with reports suggesting he was bound for Tottenham or Roma.

However, RTVE have now confirmed he will join Porto, claiming that even though the agreement is yet to be closed, both Real Madrid and the keeper are ‘in favour of sanctioning the deal’.
