Zlatan-Ibrahimovic-psgZlatan Ibrahimovic will reportedly join Manchester United on one condition – that Louis van Gaal leaves the club at the end of the season.

Sky Sports claim the Sweden international is keen on a move to Old Trafford but is hoping Jose Mourinho will replace Van Gaal in the summer.

The pair worked together previously at Inter Milan and have a great relationship, with the striker claiming in his autobiography he would ‘basically die for Mourinho’.

Ibrahimovic is out of contract with Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season having spent four years in France, winning Ligue 1 every year.

Arsenal have been told to up their £24million bid for Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Granit Xhaka, according to reports.

The Mirror claim the Gunners have been told to get closet to the German club’s valuation of £32m.

Arsene Wenger is said to be reluctant to spend that much on the 23-year-old, having only exceeded £32m on two occasions in his 20 years with the club – Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.

However, the north London side could have their hand forced with midfielder trio Mathieu Flamini, Tomas Rosicky and Mikel Arteta all expected to leave in the summer.

“Recently, there were some rumours Erkin had already signed a deal with Inter, but I don’t know anything about that at the moment,” Batur Altiparmak told Turkish outlet HaberTurk.

“I listen to all the teams who want to discuss a move. I work like that but I don’t finalise or talk publicly about anything without informing the club first.

“There are other clubs interested in him and we will have to see what is going to happen in the future.”
