Barcelona have warned potential suitors that Alexis Sanchez is not for sale.
The Chile international has been in fine form this season, guiding Barca to the Supercopa de Espana title and second in La Liga with 21 goals and 17 assists. And the 25-year-old winger, who arrived at the Catalan club from Udinese in 2011 for £22.8m, has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League, with Liverpool and Tottenham lining up summer bids.
Juventus are also keen on bringing Sanchez back for another spell in Serie A.
However, Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu insists that he is not on the market.”He’s not for sale,” Bartomeu said. “He has a contract with us and is an important part of the squad.
“Sanchez has had a great season and, of course, will be a part of Barcelona next season as well.”
