Real Madrid midfielder Kaka has attracted the attention of Arsenal and Manchester United after declaring he wants to leave the Spanish giants – as Tottenham are accused of holding up Gareth Bale’s world-record move to the Bernabeu.

Kaka announced that he wants to leave Real last night after scoring two goals in a friendly for Madrid.

The Brazilian wants to exit the Spanish capital after seeing that his role as a substitute has not changed under new coach Carlo Ancelotti.

And long-term admirers Arsenal and United could make a late move for the 31-year-old, while old club AC Milan are also in the running for his signature.

“I have less and less of a place on the team,” said Kaka. “The club knows that I would like to leave and I want it to help me find a solution.”

“I don’t know if there are offers for me. But the club is talking to my father. They are looking at the possibilities to see if something comes up before Monday.

“I don’t want to have an ugly exit. That’s why I am a professional. I have to keep training because if I want to change teams, I need to be ready to play.”

Arsenal and United are both in the market for a creative midfielder, and former Galactico Kaka would fit the bill for Arsene Wenger and David Moyes as a marquee signing their fans are calling for.

Gareth Bale’s impending arrival at Real would push Kaka further down the pecking order in Madrid, having yet to play in a competitive game for Ancelotti’s side this season.

And with Angel Di Maria and Mesut Ozil refuting speculation that they could leave, and Karim Benzema’s agent denying his client wants out, Kaka’s departure may be sanctioned.
