Mamelodi Sundowns haven’t given up on signing Clayton Daniels from Ajax Cape Town.

The Urban Warriors CEO, George Comitis, said “anything can still happen”, meaning the central defender may still make a move to Chloorkop before the transfer window closes at the end of the month.

“That’s a million dollar question… They (Sundowns) are still interested, but he will play for us tonight (against Maritzburg United) and on Saturday (against Santos) and after that anything can still happen. I believe Sundowns are still interested,” Comitis reiterates, according toKickoff.com.

“But I must get another defender,” he continues.Comitis further reveals that the Western Cape side aren’t done bolstering their squad.”I have a good striker coming. He is a foreign guy,” he concludes.

According to Comitis, Daniels may leave if the team receives an offer that meets their valuation of the player.
