Despite throwing away two important points against Bloemfontein Celtic at Seisa Ramabodu Stadium on Sunday, SuperSport United coach Gavin Hunt believes that Orlando Pirates will still walk away with the League title this season.

Pirates remain on top of the log with 50 points a point ahead of Ajax Cape Town who beat Mpumalanga Black Aces 2-1 at home yesterday.

Mamelodi Sundowns have sneaked in 3rd position, three points behind Pirates following their 3-2 victory over Golden Arrows in Tshwane on Saturday.

Speaking to KickOff.com, Hunt, who won the League title three times in succession, says 60 points will be enough for Pirates to smile and bring home the trophy this season.

“Obviously they are not going to win all their remaining games but as long as they collect points, with a draw or a win, they will win the League.

“There is always going to be pressure at the top, but I believe they have the determination and the squad to win the League.

“They are not going to lose two matches for sure and I think 60 points will be enough for them to win the League.”

Pirates travel to Cape Town to face the Urban Warriors in their next League game set for March 16.
