AC Milan could decide to cash in on injury prone winger Stephan El Shaarawy in the summer window, claims agent.
The Italy international has failed to secure a regular starting position this season due to a series of injuries, leading to his absence in the 23-man World Cup squad. And reports in Italy claim Milan – who finished just eighth this term – are considering selling the 21-year-old to create funds for the summer.
His agent and brother Manuel El Shaarawy insists he wants to stay at Milan, but admits it could be out of their hands.
“He always put in the performances when fit and his last two appearances showed he has found his form after a long lay-off,” he said.”Will his future be at Milan? We’ll have to wait and see what the club decides on the market. Stephan is certainly an important player, but there are many changes going on, starting from the issue of the Coach.
“He has always been a Milan fan, so the intention is to stay, but we need to evaluate all the situations. We have to see what Milan decides.”
