London’s top clubs Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham have been backed to hijack a loan deal for unhappy Juventus star Fernando Llorente.

The 28-year-old is struggling to find game time in Serie A and has found himself behind Carlos Tevez and Mirko Vucinic in Juve pecking order.

Fifa agent Francois Gallardo has backed the striker to leave the Italian giants and move back to La Liga, having left Athletic Bilbao on a free this summer.

“Fernando Llorente could get transferred to Real Madrid and play in the Champions League, as he is not getting minutes with Juve.

“Many people want [Radamel] Falcao, because he is the ‘best’, or Luis Suarez, who is also a great player, but Fernando is also very good, he knows the Spanish League and if he arrives on loan then the club won’t be splashing out in January.”

But fresh reports today suggest Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea are part of a big group of European clubs keeping tabs on Llorente and would be interested in trying to hijack any bids regarding him.

The Gunners have been linked with the Spanish international since his furious training ground row with boss Marcelo Biels last year and will be keen to reinforce their frontline in the next window.
