Inter have sacked coach Rafael Benitez, according to the latest reports emanating from England, but club president Massimo Moratti has refused to confirm the claims.

Sky Sport News reports that Benitez has been given his marching orders by the Nerazzurri supremo.
The Spaniard has been slated for the chop since the weekend and it was widely speculated that a decision from Moratti was going to be made before Christmas.

However, Moratti himself has dismissed suggestions that he has talked to Leonardo or anyone else to replace Benitez.

“At this moment the manager of Inter is still Benitez and I haven’t contacted any other coach,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
