Juventus have fixed their sights on Manchester United star Nani once again and are keen to force through a move for him in January.

The 27-year-old, who only recently committed himself to a five-year contract, has seen his performances waver, with David Moyes calling for him to show a greater level of consistency.Although the Portuguese winger has featured more regularly for United this season, clocking up 10 appearances as opposed to 21 for the entirety of last year, the winger is yet to become a permanent fixture for Moyes.

Juventus, along with Monaco, were touted as suitors last summer, but a deal failed to materialise.

But it seems Juve are undeterred and are willing to go back in for him again in January according to reports on the continent.

Italian paper Tuttosport ascertains Antonio Conte is a fan of Nani, whom he believes could complement Juve’s style of play.Moyes is thought to be contemplating a major clear-out in January, with Nani and Antonio Valencia believed to be considered for an Old Trafford exit.

More significantly, reports have emerged that Wesley Sneijder, who is valued at £12 million, is open to take a £1m a year pay cut in order to realise a move to United.

While United may be prepared to sacrifice Nani, it remains to be seen whether Galatsaray will play hard ball in order to keep Sneijder out of Moyes’ grasp.
