Juventus' midfielder of Chile  Arturo ViManchester United have been handed a major transfer boost after the Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal hinted he is open to a move to Old Trafford.

The 27-year-old midfield enforcer has long been admired by Louis Van Gaal.

And the Chilean’s latest comments have further boosted the Dutchman’s hopes of securing a deal.

Vidal dropped a hint that he is open to the prospect of joining Ander Herrera and Luke Shaw in Manchester.

He said: “Anyone would love to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world.”

Borussia Dortmund star Mats Hummels has frequently been linked with Manchester United.

However it has now been confirmed that the German is high on Van Gaal’s list of targets.

Transfer speculation surrounding the 25-year-old has soared following a succession of fine display’s throughout the World Cup.

Confusion continues over the future of Real Madrid star Angel Di Maria.

Conflicting reports claim that PSG have assumed control over the deal, whilst others say that United chiefs are engaged in showdown talks with the players representatives.
